Prettyman - Worth the price of admission for Rave Prettyman is funky and fun -- worth the price for an album that many feel had more lows than highs.

While I do like PM kind of I think ILYBDTYA and Wherever You Go and SFSP is worth the price of admission

Man O War is the best song on Rave. Ill get flamed for it but damn this song has one of Princes best vocal performances for years...oh and those guitar solos...hot damn! | |

YESYESYES. Man O War is completely and unjustifiably overlooked. It sounds very personal, it really touches me for some reason. Whether it is personal for P or not, I have no clue.. but it sounds real. i need 2 get away from the words that u said 2 me... i need 2 feel wanted again... And as for Prettyman. YES. Great track. There are a number of classic tracks on RAVE. I think it's unfairly slagged. | |

Prince's voice on "Rave" was full of heartbreak and pain. It was an emotional album and "Prettyman", "So Far, So Pleased" and "Baby Knows" were his attempts at fun: he did not fail on that point.
"Tangerine", "Man O' WAr" and ILYBIDTYA were classic, full of emotion and passion for a lost love. | |
