Racism Someone stated on a previous post, that there are racist lyrics on 'The Rainbow Children'. And, also I heard someone say that Prince made racist comments at a concert, saying that blacks and whites shouldn't associate with each other.

I think that someone mentioned that there was anti-jewish lyrics in the rainbow children. However the same lyrics could well have been interpreted as being anti-natzi. Prince is by no means racist. He is always associating with white people. He was on tour with Candy Dulpher for christs sake. People often get things wrong, I am one of those people. Make of Prince what you will, but i truly doubt that he has a racist bone in his body. It were proper bo I tell the!! Bo Selecta! | |

Well, the person who told me that, basically said that Prince was quoting Abraham Lincoln; but he came over as racist himself. The concert was at Paisley Park and this guy said he and the rest of the audience left really angry wirh Prince, to the point of not buying his records any more. ******************************************** | |

I really think its pathetic when people call throw stones at Prince for things they wish they could do themselves...
This is their true anger behind their criticism and skepticism. Then you leave "innuendo" because you figure if you express yourself fully that you will point the finger at themselves.. Who do you think they think they are fooling? Yeah. Prince probably has skin issues. He may have loved some women for those reasons alone. Mani is at least his hue. Everybody else wants kids that actually have most of their own traits. Most races practice this.. Otherwise, there would be more inter-racial couples!
