It's not the first time Prince doesn't title an album after a song but in that case it's almost odd that 2 albums as unrelated in sounds and themes as HnR 1 & 2 share a similar title (let's see what the assumed 3 additional volumes will sound like).

So if P had gone the usual route and chosen a song title from each album to name it instead, what would u think would have been the best title for each album?

Hitnrun phase 1 and 2 are odd titles for albums.

HnR Phase 1 - honestly I would name it "Shut This Down" because that's what I want to do with the first half of it.

HnR Phase 2 - How about "Revelation"? Has the vibe of a Prince album name, and along with "Look At Me Look At U" it's a pretty lauded ballad.

Then we'd have "Emancipation" and "Revelation" in the Prince canon.

i personally think these albums are a series of compilations - so the 'hitnrun' title works for me as a catch all title for all the volumes to come - and the quick, lo-profile way they are being released.
