This is the Prince I wait for. When it drives, it takes me with it. The beginning sort of sets up an anticipation that there may be a boom, then it is delivered: well. So much going on, but it all tastes good. Those drums rolling like thunderous declarations of swaying hips in the background is an invitation to a rolling base which slips and slides under those horns with licks of funky delight.

I feel similarly. It BEEN a fave of mine. This jem was dropped outta nowhere. I've abused it. Black muse was a stand out what the album hit for me, but only cuz I had abused this so. However long into the release...this is now defiantly my fave on the record. Amazing track. The lyrics aren't groundbreaking at all....but the music is SO dynamic.
