A nectar sweet groove that no one but Prince could vocalize on top of. I luv it. |

Interesting choice of a painting. Any idea how it relates to the Look at me, look at u? I can see it possibly relating to Revelation. Read the lyrics again. Doh! Thanks "Love & honesty, peace & harmony" |

This might be my favorite song on the album. It's fantastic. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

Love the warm, jazzy TRC vibe on this. Wish P would do a TRC-style album again. https://www.youtube.com/@PurpleKnightsPodcast |

I can imagine him performing it live and us ladies (and some fanboys) swooning over this Also it's nice he gave a little shout out to Ray charles and Stevie wonder [Edited 12/15/15 20:20pm]Thanks! I guessed sister. Prince was giving the film a shout out at first and I really do want to see it cuz I love period pieces. What? |

THIS is why all these songs deserve a second (or eighth) listen. I love it! I miss nasty Prince.
It's all that I can do Not to feel myself when I Look at U

Yes! Ain't no need to hide Every glass should be raised Brandy or martini Kudos overdue What else is there really when I Look at U? Fight it, yes, my soul has tried When U look at me All other women just roll their eyes But even Ray Charles can see U Stevie Wonder can too Thoughts well up and wonder Thinking about me and U A dozen fantasies U Call me won and done When U look at me Look at U, look at me . Corrections are welcome. [Edited 12/14/15 5:21am]

Then he goes into the piano solo - something else to do with his hands. What? |

Great lyrics, the Ray Charles and Stevie bit makes me smile every time. I'm hitting repeat on this, love it.
Probably my favourite song on the album. |

This track is cream-of-the-crop Prince. Better than anything on Phase 1 (including 1000 Xs and Os) in my book, better than anything from AOA or Plectrum, too. Might be my favorite Prince track in a decade or more. So effortless and smooth, no pretentous lyrics or overthinking.
10/10 from me. [Edited 12/16/15 10:29am] |

Totally agree with this. It's well on the way to being one my favourite P songs.
I don't think I've ever hit repeat on a song as much as this, we need an extended version. |
