FREE URSELF...why isn't it on Phase 2? I think it's one of his best songs in recent years and I'm curious why he didn't put it on Phase 2, as it would have fitted nicely. . He's been selling Free Urself t-shirts so do you think he's got a theme and plans for it to be the name of the next album along with other newish songs? | |

maybe it's on phase 3, or he felt it too similar to Rnr Affair (it's also a bit like Baltimore in the pacing). | |

Probably on the next Phase album (or other future album). Might have been because it is slighty more electronic sounding compared to the rest of the Phase 2 songs. RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time... |

I'm thinking Free Urself was recorded after Phase 2 was probably compiled. I think it was recorded with Prince, Mono Neon, Kirk, and Donna lineup. TRUE BLUE |

If Prince would actually do things properly the album should have been called Free Urself and the tracklist would have lloked something like this....
