Trust

I always slept on this song for many many years, often times skipping the track...

However after relistenting to this track over and over for the past week, I really feel this is an underated track just placed on an album that most fans didn't find "worthy" of being in his golden age of the 80's.

Musically it's sophisiticated and a great funk jam.

Wait..so you say "fuck that shitty song" to "Chocolate Box" but call this a "great funk jam"?

I think "Trust" sounds too mechanical and stuff to be realy funky...but I do like it. When I'm in the mood I really dig the whole Batman album.

I don't like Chocolate Box... Quite frankly I'll take any song recorded in 1989 over a song recorded in 2009 with the acception of Dreamer. lol

It's never too late. "Trust" is brilliant. I wish there wasn't these stupid movie samples over it. But that is true for the whole album, except of course for "Batdance", and maybe the intro of "Vicky Waiting". Even "Partyman", I could do without Jack Nicholson, as much as it would sound like a good idea.

I always like to listen to Batman now and then, but the samples remind of how bad the movie is. It's a real disaster, few films have aged that badly. Makes you wonder what all this 1989 bat-fever has been about.

Never liked this tune. And knowing that the actors and extras were all actually dancing to 'Baby I'm a Star' on set just makes me wish for something better.

Dude, that ride was the best! They used to play most of the album while in line.
