Detroit 1982 Leak ... Origins of Modernaire?

NO SOLICITING FOR BOOTLEGS! Discussion is fine, so long as the bootleg is not being promoted e.g. pre-release; requests/offers to share or copy, and links to download or bootleg sites are not. And that includes any form of asking for/where can I find, I have never heard it, would love to hear it, and any variation of. Temp bans will be handed out with the swiftness..... These rules are strictly enforced! - luv4u

Listening to the recent leak of the Detroit 82 show and at the 3:20 mark of Lady Cab Driver, Dez is playing a riff on the guitar which sounds really close to the opening riff of his Modernaire, which was co-written by Prince.

Chime in to let me know what y'all think.

---- Yes, I heard this before and the riffs is from Modenaire mixed in with Lady Cab Driver.

That San Francisco 82 show for me as to be.is one of his best of 80s. What is missing.? A lot better than 84 birthday show that people go on about.

That's is a pity . starts uptown ends with let's work. So you are probably right as 2nd coming usually starts these shows
. Great performance anyway my favourite from that era.
