Prince already made a photobook in 2008 "21 Nights book & cd". Prince 4Ever.

I did a quick head count and yeah, it's just you.
History has shown that Prince is only great at one thing and it's making and performing music.
If he's directed (and accepts being directed), he can be ok at acting so long as there's a performance scene in the next 50 seconds.
Prince should not under any circumstances: - direct movies; - write anything but tweets and lyrics; - cultivate any talent unless it's music related, except sports to keep fit.

"People say I make too much music... People say you can't keep up... But I'm under the impression that I make just enough music! I'm under the impression that nobody can keep up like you!"
Prince/ on stage in 1993. Really, guys, in 2011-12 folks complained that he didn't release any albums and now that he does, folks still complain? [Edited 11/15/15 5:37am]

I would like to see him act more. Not leading roles, but cameos in films (and more TV appearances would be fine). I could imagine him doing the David Bowie cameo in Zoolander, for example. Perhaps he'll be in the sequel... U been bamboozled, hoodwinked, took.

I would love to see him put out something that shows the creative process of a song or songs. Not necessarily a reality show just a lil video of how he creates his music. Wouldn't that be cool? klick

yes and no. only if he's putting out quality stuff. i'm all for him having his freedom to do what he wants when he wants. he is the ultimate blueprint so to speak as far as an artist is concerned. who wouldn't wanna be where he is now? but for fans it's too all over the place. that's the ONLY thing about warners that i miss from back then. quality control...kinda. and the people around him to tell him when something was whack. too many yes men around him the past few years. you can't grow thru compliments but you can with CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.

Same, even though his acting isn't the best I always love to see him on screen. I'm still hoping he makes another feature length film but I doubt that will happen. Maybe he will release the movie he made around the 3121 era one day

Like what? He's a musician by trade. Recording and touring is what they do.

Not sure I'm dying to know what else he has to offer at this point. Would like to see him hunker down on his own experimental pop music side rather than branch out.
Didn't they try scaling his talent in the 80s and 90s w/protégée acts and movies? His biggest hits are undeniable, but the majority of 'misses' also seem clear - the man is a singular visionary talent and inspiration. His brand is specific and doesn't seem to scale well. Paraphrasing Billy's line in Purple Rain: "Nobody understands your stuff but you..." . [Edited 11/15/15 9:26am]

How about Prince playing the King of Madagascar in the next Pirates of the Carribean movie? How about this... The Queen of Madagascar made love to a pirate (Hell! A musician on a pirate ship!) She gave birth to a boy. Slave traders ransacked the village and took the little boy to New York. He grew up, ran away from his slave owner's home and went to sea as a pirate, was shipwrecked on the coast of Madagascar and then the Queen recognized him as her son and made him her successor. Think I made this all up? Google Abraham Samuel... I just spiced up the story a lil' bit... [Edited 11/15/15 11:45am] [Edited 11/15/15 11:48am]

I'd like him to restart his touring caravan and barbecue weekends he did in North Wales in the mid 90s. You haven't tasted ribs until you've had it outside his three berther in Prestatyn.

I think Prince's music career, of late or at least since he broke through to superstardom anyway, is just a bypoduct of his other activities. I don't think he's in it to make art. I don't think he's in it for money, per se. I think he's in it for the attention and the lifestyle. I don't see how he really could change. So if he were to do something, other than his same old protege-styling/album/ tour-but-not-really-tour/ I'm thinking about the future, the past doesn't mean anything to me combo... Yes, I'd like to see it happen.

I don't know, his life does seems kind of repetitive, lonely, and sad sometimes, but that's just my opinion. I would think that he would get tired of doing the same things over and over, but again, that's just me, maybe it doesn't bother him or maybe he just loves it that much, but I just couldn't see myself in his role in life. For some reason, I think it's sad to picture him doing this when he's 70 or what not, like I see many musicians doing, still stuck in time, trying to relive their glory days, and I just want to say to them, "let it go, your time has come and gone, and you will never be as great as you were when you were on top".....that's how I feel about Prince now, so I can't even imagine when he's even older.

1contessa - Thank you for your intelligence! My whole point was - Damn is that it? gigs.. promoting things and staying isolated most of the time surrounded by yes men, women & lately 20+ year olds?!!!! It just strikes me as a bit... Odd.. I'd love to see him have a family or something..

WOW.
Did I yank your chain or something? I MUST HAVE. Like I said, this is just MY opinion, of how I think of his life. I never said that he should EVER stop doing what he's doing, especially if he loves it. However, I do think that his life is repetitive, and that he does the same things he's done since he started, I thought that what the question of this post was about. Now, if you have a problem with that.....TOUGH! lololololol

IMO I am happy if he is happy with what he is doing. He has certainly entertained me and lifted my spirits up enough over 30+ years. I do WISH though, that he would do something like "Live at Darryl's House". I think that could be an incredible project that could last in perpetuity. I can just imagine random artists (some big name, some no name) just jammin, with Prince, "Live at Prince's House". [Edited 11/16/15 3:24am]

Better yet, open a restaurant, see it fail and then have Gordon Ramsay come in to save it. That would make for a nice ego clash and some great TV.
