One comment: if Prince tells a random stranger something, online or otherwise, I don't think they should feel bad about posting about it. If he would tell one random stranger, don't see why he wouldn't tell ANY random stranger. If he is telling stuff to people he doesn't know, he expects the info to be discussed publicly (unless he specifically told you otherwise, obviously). So everybody chill.

BTW, Prince is my best friend and he said that he really, really wants to fuck Natasha. I'm pretty sure he meant for me to tell everyone that.

Yeah, Prince is going to give out private information to a stranger when he doesn't ever even give a straight answer about anything,the people that work for him never even seem to know anything for sure or else pretend like they don't.

They would never give out his e-mail.

The reason Prince isnot communicating with the fans has nothing to do with him growing up.

Please read The Awakening of a Jehovah Whitness by Diane Wilson. She was a Jehovah Whitness for 25 years and left. Everything she writes about them she verivies by telling which Watchtower or other magazines they have where she got the information.

She wasnot allowed to attend her parents funerals.
She was told if she didnot shun her daughter after she left the organization that she would be disfellowshiped.

(but later got permission to visit her daughter.) They told her to keep it a secret from the rest of the congregation.

She was told not to attend any other churches and only have friends that were JWs. and not to have anything to do with the "Outside wicked world" But I warn all of you this book is very disturbing.

But also this lady had no back bone or self-esteem,it maybe different with Prince, he changes his mind from one day to the next.

Don't get upset with me for printing this, just read the book and make your own conclusion.

Don't ever expect to ever be told the truth about why there is no communication to the fans.

I'm sorry, but I truly doubt that Prince trolls the internet, emailing various people just for kicks, or opens himself up that way to random fans. People who have actually worked with/for him and had a legitimate friendship with him have remarked in interviews about how little they sometimes feel they truly know him, and how intensely private he is. And in the case of fans who somehow find out his email address and then take it upon themselves to email him (which I think is really poor judgement..), IF IT *IS* ACTUALLY TRULY HIS EMAIL ADDRESS to begin with and the email actually does reache him, I just have a very very difficult time believing he has nothing better to do than reply to these folks.

If Prince is the sort of person - and I realize these types of people are out there - who feel comfortable interacting with anonymous people off the internet, then I could see him going online and emailing folks now and again and maybe having some sort of short term, superficial online relationship with them. BUT...in that case I then think he would STAY ANONYMOUS, and not announce directly, or make it clear indirectly, that he is who he is.

Personally, I think a very large percentage of people who are convinced they have spoken with Prince via emails or chat are doing so because in their hearts they want to believe so badly that their idol has noticed them, that they were "annointed" or "chosen" or something above other fans and they get off on feeling somehow superior. Some other people just like to plain old spew bullsh*t. Still other people are just very gullible, naive or just not very bright, and so anybody who writes to them in Princebonics and with a decent knowledge of Prince trivia to throw around, could conceivably convince them they are Prince himself.



Yes, he does. I agree. No question about that. But, in my book, "random fan off internet" does not = being Prince's "friend". Even if it was actually Prince who emailed you or anybody else, that does not make that person a "friend" of his, no matter how much anybody would like to consider themselves as such.

Really. Then I wonder why there are no more substantial reports from reliable sources regarding Mani being pregnant, besides all the rumors floating around. Prince seems pretty tightlipped about that part of his life (as well he should be, imo)...yet "Prince" is supposedly telling mere fans off the internet the details of he and his wife's reproductive life? Doesn't make sense.

HisAngel, if you believe you actually once had some sort of online relationship with Prince, good for you. Maybe you did, maybe you didn't. Who knows..all I'm saying is my own personal thoughts and opinions.

Nobody knows what Prince is going to do in the future.
He might even get smart and not believe that JW stuff.
Prince would never entirely give up music.and the money that it brings in because he is the one that would be the loser in the end. The fans would only have the option of going on with their lives.

Wouldn't it be wise to think that Prince would be bored or misserable without music in his life?

But in that JW book, there was some ladies that played some instruments to their congregation and the elders told them that this was wrong because they were drawing attention to themselves. That is some scary stupid crap.

But Prince isnot an idiot, he is bound to come to his senses someday, he just needs to stop listening to idiots.

You never said if Prince asked you how you, a FAN who he didn't know, gained access to his PRIVATE email address. Does he not mind if people he trusts with that address pass it around to any Joe Shmoe on the street? Also, a private email address that was never meant to be given out to fans (meaning YOU) is in the same realm as bootlegs, IMO.

Calhoun - I agree that lovebird is forever playing the anti-JW card (sometimes rightly, sometimes it's, well, "reaching") but you have to consider that if any of this is to be believed (I, amongst others, am highly sceptical of yet another Prince retirement) then there is only 1 explanation of Prince turning in "the life" - and this is his faith.

I said it a long, long time ago that the only worry for me with his conversion to this faith is that we would start to see the restrictive elements of their beliefs creep in to his music (this has happened, though not, as feared, to a detrimental effect in the main) and this would eventually lead to his retirement from music all together.

If he does "retire", I can't see it lasting more than a year! As people have said, he is music, and even with his current faith, I don't think he will truly feel alive if he is not creating.

Nothing is official until we get word from Prince or Paisley. And, even then, it ain't necessarily so. Prince said in 1985 that he was retiring from live performance, but that did not transpire either.
