Indigo Aftershow 13/09/2007 I was listening this morning to this aftershow I've attended 8 years ago, and still to this day this ranks up in the top Prince gigs I've been to.
I was trying to remember any little thing that happened on stage that night. Could you guys share your memories of that if you were there that night?
Also, I don't think I've ever seen any photo of that aftershow, guess no one managed to take any?
Randomly:
- Prince showing up on stage after Renato's The Dance, wearing the same outfit he used for the Brits Awards - Was very surprised Around the World got an incredibly cool extended treatment, as I thought it would go right into Lolita after a couple of minutes, as in the past - Prince performing the second solo during ATWIAD and looking possessed, with his eyes looking in a bit up in the void - Starting Beautiful Strange (one of my all time favourites) on the Telecaster, then picking up the blue Fender after a solo from Mike Phillips and playing with tones and notes to create space-y sounds - Prince voluntarily falling on a big cushions on stage (can't remember during which song) - Was he playing any instrument during Who Is He and What is He To U? - Prince alone on stage with Shelby and Marva playing Baby I Love U
SETLIST - The Dance - Around the World in a Day - Beautiful Strange - Whole Lotta Love - Paisley Park - Partyup - Rock Steady - 7 - Come Together - Who is He and What is He To You - The Question of U / The One / Fallin' - Misty Blue - Baby I Love U - What U Need - Musicology / Prince & The Band [Edited 11/13/15 1:26am]

Was this the one where Prince lay down on the sofa while Shelby was singing Misty Blue? He was goofing around with a towel during this a bit too as I recall. RIP

Circulating as an audience recording, from the 21 nights in London tour. It's an ok sounding boot, there are better recordings of the aftershows from this tour but it's more than listenable. I think there's a collection called For Your Memories which has all of the Indigo aftershows. RIP
