Hair grows at a rate of approximately a half-inch a month - so six inches in a year. Prince could have shaved his head a year ago and had hair as long as it is now - but he didn't. He's been wearing an afro (short initially) for at least two years.

None of that is to say he isn't wearing "supplemental" hair. Just that he absolutely has had time to grow it to its current length.

Prince is not bald. He is doing the Hendrix afro thing so let him be great with a fro. The only problem l have with it is that he needs to shape it.

I'm not saying he's bald, but he has done some work to keep to his hair. He started thinning in the early 90's. Everyone noticed the difference in the before and after images from The Same December video.
