Would love to see him release a crystal clear and perfect audio of this concert ...

It was officially released on PAL VHS and PAL laserdisc from what I recall.

It's a pity there was no Japanese Laserdisc release.

Indeed. For the longest time I thought there was, and searched for it through the early 90's.

I prefer the footage from Toronto despite the poor picture quality and even though the it's filmed with only one camera from afar. I just think the performance has more energy.

IIRC the Laserdisc rip on the Excalibur label is wrongly tagged as a rip from a Japanese Laserdisc.
