Prince looks like Mike Shrieve playing "Soul Sacrifice" with Santana at Woodstock in this clip. You can't really judge how good or bad Prince's playing is from a 15 second clip. Prince's drumming on Madhouse 8, Madhouse 16 and The Flesh sessions is a better way to gauge his prowess as a timekeeper. 3121 #1 THIS YEAR |

That is literally the first time I've seen him actively playing a drum kit. My first thought was "Damn, those sleeves look annoying." Cool to see him playing as well as using the name "1000_xsos". It took quite a flinging, but something finally actually stuck to the proverbial wall. One of the 2.5 mature tracks on the "album". I hope he "ain't about to stop" giving us more solid r&b material like Stare, 1000 x's and o's, Time, and June. He could be killing the r&b charts right now. No question the contemporary fans are still faithful. I know he'd get bored but it would be cool to see him run that specific chart for a summer just because he can. | |

Princestagram has been fantastic. I think he has a better chance of making a successful 'behind the scenes' project than he does of making a good album. I couldn't care less about what he's actually playing, but it is cool to see him drumming. | |

You are a professional liar. You claimed Prince could not keep perfect timing on the drums without a click track even though his sound engineer stated otherwise. Lol. I respect your opinion but out of curiosity, but have you heard Prince's drumming on these albums "For You", "Prince", "Dirty Mind", "Madhouse 8" and "Madhouse 16". Prince isn't Jeff Porcaro but timekeeping on those albums isn't really a problem for him. 3121 #1 THIS YEAR |
