How would you pitch it down without all the instruments also being pitched down? Is this a stupid question, idk maybe that's not important? Heavenly wine and roses seems to whisper to me when you smile...

Run it through Audacity. You can lower the pitch that way...not perfect, but you may get some results that are worth listening to. Walking alone in the dark, I see nothing u see
