Prince Infinite. Alternative timeline 1989-1992

I have been thinking about his albums these two last weeks, since the attention of Diamonds & Pearls Beginnings. Shortly after some posted (or bumped) their love for prince Album. Those two, although some highlights (Love 2 The 9's being my personal favourite) sounded to contemperary when released. Imagine, Batman has been done and dropped to the market. Which scenario would you wished happened to Prince output afterwards? Remember, GB,D&P, prince are not included in your timeline. What do you think would be the best move for Prince to do in this period in order to extend his great run, which in our world cut off in 1988? (Although I think Batman should be included, but that's my personal taste i guess)

Your question is a little confusing to me. What specifically is it that you want us to discuss again?

In context. Replace GB,D&P, prince with other projects that suited the Prince aura. Like for instance. Rave Unto The Joy Fantastic 1989 maybe. Discuss outtakes that could've been better releases in 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992 etc etc.

Maybe he could have released a cover album of Korean traditional songs?

I really don't understand this thread, sorry sad

We know that Batman could have been an album titled RITJF, with probably a very different tracklist than the early configs we know, and then obviously there would have been GB anyway because it was planned for a long time, though it could have been a very different album if CB hadn't become Pandemonium and Time songs hadn't ended on GB. After that IDK what u expect from us: we don't know of any alternate project for 91-92 save maybe a few shelved side projects.

A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/

No problem. This is only a speculation thread. More or less your own fantasy timeline. Since GB and D&P gets mostly negative comments in here. With the few exceptions of some tracks (Question Of U, Joy in Repetition, Gett Off, Insatiable etc etc.)
