Back in 1994, I was hanging out with a friend listening to a bootleg cassette of tracks like "Days of Wild" and "Acknowledge Me"... but disappointed by Prince's appearance where he lip synced "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World" on that awards show with Mayte.

I said, "You know what would be cool? If Prince grew out an afro and appeared on an awards show and performed and sang a song while on drums"

The new video is kind of like doing that... but too brief.
