Maybe this wasn't P's best album, aside from a couple of great songs, but I do miss when he was a "team player" and actually promoted his work. From the unique cd packaging (first artist to put a hologram on a cover, right?) to the serious promotion and videos. Those were the days.
I'm enjoying D&P Beginnings at the very least for its historical aspect. And the sound quality is nice. D&P was a shameless commercial pop album, but we got Gett Off and Insatiable out of the deal!  [Edited 12/24/15 6:58am] "The password is what." |
