Mono's selfmarketing needs some adjusting... Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

. Has Santana done anything of value in the past couple of decades? . These superbands often are pretty shite anyway, see https://en.wikipedia.org/...SuperHeavy for instance. Santana has released some great music in the past couple of decades. I guess you have missed it and haven't given it much attention. Carlos is a master guitarist who plays with some amazing singers and musicians. I love his spirituality. I personally don't think Prince should create a Superband, but I do think he has to start making more sophisticated music and stop with all the Mr Nelson bullshit. Play guitar and sing, that's what we need from him, not all the "technical noise" on Hit n Run.

Prince had his own brand of sophisticated music in the late 80s and early/mid 90s. The new stuff doesn't even touch that older stuff in terms of depth.

3EG hasn't gone anywhere, he's just trying out different line ups and stuff, like how in 2013 and 14 he still had the other NPG line up with 3eg and Andrew Gouche on bass etc

Do you have a source for this or are you just speculating? It's telling that there's been no sign of Ida at this shows, isn't it? Donna is in the lineup, Josh has played keys here and there, and Hannah's been spotted in the crowd, but Ida's MIA.

does hannah look preggo?

Its the same as when Hannah joined in late 2012 but he still had John Blackwell as his drummer, he even did shows where the two would switch over.

I wonder if Prince will let Mono keep the sock. I do wonder how Prince found out about him. He's well known amongst bass players, but extremely low key at the same time. I do remember Brown Mark gave a shout out to Mono so maybe that's where it started. I like Ida. She is a solid bass player that any band would be glad to have, but MonoNeon is on another level with his skill and approach. In an interview, he said he sees music in blocks of color so abstact artist like Mark Rothko are a big influence on him. His mix of Indian sitar riffs, southern blues, John Cage, and funk makes him truly unique. Its going to be really excting to see him jam with Prince.

Yeah, I'm not sure if she is multi-instrumentalist or she was just goofing around, but she is a drummer first and foremost

I'm not convinced - there were only 2 of those shows, 2 days apart. With every show this lineup plays, I think it becomes more and more likely that this is the new band.

Eye can't wait until takes a new band pic with his NEW funky line up....This new band is a complete "mAsTeRPiEcE"!!!! Eye wonder has he come up with a name yet??? will ALWAYS think of like a "ACT OF GOD"! N another realm. mean of all people who might of been aliens or angels.if found out that wasn't of this earth, would not have been that surprised. R.I.P.

She did actually post a photo on Instagram about a week ago of what looks like the view of Copenhagen harbour. But then if she's back in Denmark in this busy time with a possible upcoming album and tour I guess that could also be quite telling of her future with Prince.

. I mean the optics. The outfit, the colors of the outfit, the labelling looks indeed kinda selfproclaimed(!) childish and at least unnecessary for a musical professional. The music should do the talking, as always. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

I tend to agree. I think the Travelling Wilburys got it right though... kept it really light hearted.

. PFunk has a wholly different context than this individual, especially when he is in the Prince context.

I'm definitely hearing some Prince influence on this one. I hope Mononeon is in the studio recording with him.
