There'd be no problem if he had, but he hasn't. It's just an attempt to kill rumours before they even start. It'd get the same reception if it was a 'rumoured' tracklist with no source.

I think the people that rush to discredit the person who states that they actually did see a picture are the ones whose nerves have been touched, because of the possibility that such a picture exists. - It was in a New York paper, most likely on a Sunday because it was in color

- It was about 30 years ago. I would guess in the 86-89 range.

I actually have started searching for this, but every newspaper archive I find wants money to get the articles. Which is funny, because if my original post was left alone, I probably wouldn't have bothered. Someone else who was in the NY area at the time and was a big Prince fas as I was had to have seen it.

People have been talking about these sighting of Prince wearing a mini skirt or dress for a long time. And there are a lot of hardcore long time fans... who have never seen these pictures. This is why it is quick to get shut down. Like I said, it's been happening for a long time with no results Ever.
My older brother told me that was Prince, when I thought it was a woman, back in 1987 on the sleave of the SOTT single. I accepted that for a while. I had no problem at all because he was always doing things to cause controversy. He's imitated women on Time/Vanity 6 tracks etc he has always played with cross gender stuff in his music. And I have no problem with it, and it is fun how he does it.

If someone has a picture post it, no lies, no photoshops, just stop talking about it, asking us 'does any have/know of the picture...' when we have gone over this over and over for a long time.

I already posed one. The second post on page 2 of this thread. Now, whether you choose to believe it's a dress or not is another story but it sure looks like a dress to me. If it were on any other male, people would be calling it a dress. And even on Prince, the only ones that don't think it's a dress are Prince fans.
