I could'nt agree more in agreement with both of you. Prince does serious justice to the BG vox on his and protege songs. That man does NOT rest on his laurels. And the ways he arranges the harmonies and even how he chooses the lyrics on the BG tracking, it sounds like he commits himself to the BG singing parts nearly as much as he does with the primary composition. As far back as I can remember he has put his all into creating flawless and compelling background vocals that demand attention without being overpowering. He makes a real art out of it. | |
