One would assume their purpose is to be a gathering place for hot topics to catch the attention of the poster before they go start another thread about the same subject.

When there are 15 of them, everyone automatically scrolls past because it's visually too much to sift through.

And at this point, there's so little traffic or new conversation generated, who cares if there are duplicate threads?

thanks2joniand u	Yes, at this point...shut.them.down. The album is not good enough to merit individual sticky threads for each song...LOL

Fairly sure I was a member a few years before I read any of the ALL CAPS WARNING MESSAGES at the top of the forum.
