Instead of wearing this ludicrous wig for 2 years ? When will it stop?

He seems to hate his hair so much now, that he doesn't want to shoot any music video anymore, and doesn't even want to appear on the cover of his albums.

Why don't mods ban these hate-inducing users with their fantasy and made-up arguments?

I figured he was wearing a wig, but I had no idea it was because he was going bald.
Anyways, Prince going naturally grey (I'm sure he's been grey for at least the last 10 years or so),

or going bald without wearing a wig, would look strange now considering how much photoshopping

he does to preserve the whole "time is a trick" montra.

It's like this thread came out of a.....twilight zone, or something.

I don't think he's bald, but years and years of hairdo certainly show.

Maybe the afro is a direct result of a specialist urging him to stop
putting products or doing stuff to his hair.

Maybe we got the afro because he does not want to go bald.

Many actors and singers wear a toupee, or hair implant, the most famous case being William Shatner. With this terrible afro wig, Prince is clearly hiding his baldness (just like MJ did).

Does someone remember the last time Prince wore short hair ? Just before wearing this afro "haircut" ? How many time spent between that ? Do you think it grew during the night ? Do you think Prince can beat his genetics?

What are you talking about. Prince has an intagram account with recent photos and videoclips showing him from every angle.

His afro started short, grew a little bit longer, now it's big Nothing strange here.

Evidence? Photos or a statement from a credible source other than your opinion?

Other than that I think it's common knowledge that many public figures have wigs, toupees, implants, etc. If it's not unusual then why is it bothersome to the point of endless speculation?

I seldom think of Prince's genetics one way or the other unless it's brought up on the org.

I think it's a mixture of the fact he's been straightening his hair out for so many years and also the resurgance of the natural hair pride stuff.

I mean he's probably had top notch care for his hair over the years, but 30+ years of constant chemical straightening has to have an effect, even if you do have the best of the best looking after your hair.

Nothing at all strange about it if that is indeed the case. I just haven't seen it on Prince. Perhaps people are unfamiliar with natural hair after so many years of seeing Prince permed up?

When I first went natural after years of relaxers my hair was significantly thinner than before relaxing. It took almost two years for it to return to normal.

Beside this fake story on Prince baldness, i just I hope he will let his hair grow like Marge Simpson.

In one intreview from 90s (i watched that in some video online) Prince was asked why he always wear high heals, and he was, because without them i would look like a Marge without hair
