Just curious but am I the only one here that have not purchased the last three

CDs?

I was in Target the other day, I picked up the CD and placed it back on the shelf.

In the past, I would have never-never reacted like that toward his new music.

I think I've lost that 'Fire and Desire'- that I once

had when I used to run out the first day when

his new music was available in the stores .

I don't know if it's because i'm older now and my

taste buds are changing or that Prince is starting to become a stranger to me.

Stranger in the house. I feel as if a lot of us were moving forward

with Prince and then Prince decides to stop and stay behind.

I feel as if I/we have become 'Distant Lovers'- It seems

after Andy Allo's departure and him moving forward with his

new experiment with the 3rd eye movement is when the tides changed.

When a lot of the ol' school

Purple People have been replaced with new toys and sometimes he might come

out to play with us. ('step children, old toys, wasted goods etc...)

'Where do we go from here?'

I need that spark again to get me into the groove or get back on the ride

again..what should I listen to or to watch to

make that happen? 'I need a Remedy'

The last time I had some type of excitement is when he was

doing the Live 3rd eye streaming performances.

We all change and maybe it's time for some of us to allow

the young ones to embrace Prince

and not be selfish when he embraces 'new toys'-- now I understand

the pain of the old toys in

the movie Toy Story

I enjoyed the ride while it lasted.

I might get back in line when i see some familiar faces but for now I will

sit back on the bench and think about all the great times I once

had ..to see the young ones enjoying Prince is a sight to see.

I'm here and I'm not going anywhere yet until they shut down the ride

or when the wheels come off and that's when the park closes forever.

Until then ....

However, I have paid for and very much enjoyed most of the music.
