Van Hunt is definitely a baddass, although his live performance is nowhere near P's level, nor does it need to be, just saying that to me, he's more of a studio artist, but he's certainly a talented artist in his own right.

Listening to the album yesterday and it lept out at me immediately as a take on Sexy Dancer. I think it has to be a very intentional homage to Sexy Dancer, I wouldn't be surprised to see them make reference to it in interviews because it's so obvious. Good track too, I quite like the album overall.

"Night" is... interesting, but doesn't kick in til the last 1:30.

Reminds me of George Michael's "Precious Box"

Gave the other tracks a listen.

Hard to hear her real voice throughout.

Too many seem quiet storm-ish, IMO.

Wish the team had turned in more tracks w/punch, some energy.

"Night' muziq is a dead ringer for my favorite cut "Sexy Dancer" that is why it's so hypnotic! But I forgive JJ&TL for using it. Because they all grew up musically in the same circle. But those two cuts need to be mixed together.
