Apologies if this has already been posted but here's something I read in yesterday's 'Daily Mirror' (UK newspaper). It's from an interview with Elton John, talking about his infamous post-Oscar parties (I presume this is from 1996):

'Recalling one crazy year, Elton said:

"I was sitting with Emma Thompson, Nicholas Cage, Patricia Arquette, Jim Carey, Tom Hanks and PRINCE. Prince and his wife were expecting a baby and Emma asked them what they were going to call it. Prince replied: 'It'. She turned round and said: 'You can't call a baby It!'.

It was a very surreal moment".'



Indeed!
Imagine sitting at THAT table...!

Maybe, he was referring to the fact that she initially referred to the baby as an 'it'? Whatever, Prince is wierd.

You could write a whole surrealist play about that gathering of people.

I for one sincerely hope Mani is pregnant. They deserve to be happy and if having children contributes to their happiness, then I wish them all the best. More than anything, I hope the baby is healthy. I think Prince will make an amazing father. Can't you just see him teaching the little one how to play all those instruments. He'll also be able to help with hair and make up too
