Looking on ebay, there is a CD copy of Apllonia 6 which has six bonus tracks on it.

Having looked around on princevault, I didn't see anything about this. Does anyone know if this is a fake? Sounds a bit suspicious to me. cheers

It is a bootleg.

But unfortunately it's the only way to have the Apollonia 6 album on a proper CD release if you don't have $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for the overpriced original WEA Japan CD on Ebay.

I'm a strong P collector but not mad. So I'm well with the bootleg release.

How is the sound quality? Is it CD sound quality or does it sound like the LP? I don't mind a bootleg if it is CD quality.

To be honest I listened directly to it only one time, several years ago.

Fron what I remember the album sounds really good, a little less the 2 mixes of "Sex Shooter" and "Blue Limousine".

I don't care for the solo Apollonia tracks, so I didn't listen to it.

But be clear, I'm not an audiophile.

I usually listen to the music with good HQ earphones, that's all.

Take what I'm writing for what it is.

You are correct. I'm surprised that mrconvincedofhisownbrilliance didn't know that!

It seems like the bonus tracks are from Apollonia's solo album that came out in 1989.

The CD doesn't seem to be the least bit legit, but the packaging looks nice, and if it has CD quality, it can't be that back for $1.12 plus shipping!

At that price, maybe I would have think to buy it.

But on Ebay when I checked I've never seen the Japan CD at less than the prices I reported above, and I'm checkin' it from the dawn of the Ebay site.

"Apollonia 6" is the only one related projects in my collection that is not the official release.

In the years I tracked down any other CD, from Vanity 6 to The Family to Jill Jones to all Sheila E.'s to Madhouse's, etc etc etc.

But I'm not regretting to not pay an abnormal amount to have it.

I simply can't understand the madness surrounding some collectable items.

So I'm well with the "un-official" factory pressed CD release.

It looks nice on the shelf between the others.

For that price be sure that it is the factory pressed CD and not a replication CDR.

If it is, very nice.
