17 Days is Prince's greatest single. Prove me wrong. Good luck. "The password is what."

Um, it's not a single. It's a b-side to the single "When Doves Cry". "New Power slide...."

It can't be disproved you think it's his greatest track/song. Very short discussion.

For a B-SIDE... Yes, amongst Erotic City and She's Always In My Hair... Those are his 3 best b-sides no question.

I would love to hear the extended version .that would be a dream come true. Prince should put it out as his next "Pick of the week"!!! There's Joy in repetition

I like it, a lot...but its a bit repetitive to be considered the best anything...except maybe the best ciggarett add. The repetitive nature reflects a cigarette accurately yet enticingly. [Edited 9/22/15 20:30pm] Matter of fact..imma go smoke one...brb. [Edited 9/22/15 20:30pm]

I wouldn't say it's the greatest but it is definitely in the top 5 and I'd certainly take it over EVERYTHING he's put out in the last 10 years. [Edited 9/23/15 1:11am] I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

17 Days is one of my favorite songs. I agree that it's just as good as anything that made the PR album. I also love the live version from the 1984 birthday show. It has so much energy, and the ending is just fantastic. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

Yes, the birthday show version is brilliant. . And dadeepop is right; it's his greatest single. In his dreams. He dreamt the next album title and copywrited it so it must be true.
