I'd like to hear more collaborations between these two. I wonder if there's any songs we haven't heard locked away somewhere? Paradigm is my favorite, but they're must be more we haven't heard. "So fierce U look 2night, the brightest star pales 2 Ur sex..." |

George talked about and worked with Kendrick Lamar like he is the new Prince - unfortnately. I dont see it because I hear nothing profound from Lamar. Save America - Stop Illegal Immigration. God bless America. PEACE |

Another point about this letter....
Compare and contrast this with the example he wrote to the little girl in Oklahoma(?) during the Purple Rain years. One of the things I said about Prince last year, that I think is really cool, is how he plays people around him a bit. Prince is never really offstage. People think they know him, but depending on who you are, you get a different Prince He's got his personality for Jon Bream. He's got his personality for 3EG. He's got his Larry Graham mode. He's got a communication style for the little white girl in OK. And in this letter he's talking to GEORGE CLINTON! PARLIAMENT FUNKADELIC, baby! He's got to be cool! So how does he write it then? Hotel notepad. Gretting all over the logo of the page. Ain't no periods on the sentences, lol. The letter rhymes. This note is sloppy. This note is funky. That's a different Prince from the one who wrote the PR fan, no? And he's still like that today. Prince is whoever he thinks he needs to be to get what he wants from people. |

All of that could also mean he is a highly impressionable person having to change who he is around different folks all the time. The real 2 questions are, who is the real Prince? And why is he afraid he won't be accepted by being that person around everyone? "You always get the dream that you deserve, from what you value the most" -Prince 2013 |

It would be more strange if he communicated with a little girl and an older man in exactly the same way. The wooh is on the one! |

I just point it out, not necassarily as a bad thing, just that, superstar celebrities that are able to appeal to a mass audience also are kind of, good actors, and they all have a phony side to them. Even when they aren't in front of the cameras, they are always onstage and sometimes even among close friends and associates, they are playing toward expectations. |

It would be more strange if he communicated with a little girl and an older man in exactly the same way. Right. He wouldn't talk to his father the way he talks to his boys. He wouldn't talk to his mother the way he talks to his girls. Different times call for different measures. What? |

Comparing the hand writing in those two letters he was obviously wasted when he wrote George. It speaks to his advantage that he don't write to his young fans during big benders. [Edited 9/21/15 7:44am] |

Right. He wouldn't talk to his father the way he talks to his boys. He wouldn't talk to his mother the way he talks to his girls. Different times call for different measures.
You can still do all the above and still "be yourself", the point folks are trying to make here is that Prince recreates his entire personality to suit the expectations of the people he meets. (to the extreme) - and perhaps that is one of the reasons that has contributed to his music being so amazingly varied over the years.

[Edited 9/21/15 9:23am] I don't know, but I'm not surprised that those 2 letters came from the same person. I don't see much difference. One is just a little more polite. What? |

His moon is in Pisces, so that is highly likely. I can be like that and my moon is in Pisces. Essentially, it makes an individual highly perceptive... moreso than sun in Pisces. Don't forget that Prince is also a highly skilled impressionist. I have heard him do more characters than what we've heard on record. Like myself, he doesn't usually imitate an actual person, he imitates a character. I can relate.

I like that take on it Giovanni, but for me personally I do not believe in anything astrological as it relates to personality. Theoretical example: If we moved the planet earth to a different part of the galaxy, under different constellations, different stars, and a different moon, would all of our personalities miraculously change? and would people born in that new Earth location take on different personalities than they would have if born on the old Earth location? They would not imo. Prince's personality, as well as ours, comes down to genes and life experience.

To Gio's point, Moon in Pisces enhances empathy as well as intuition whereas the ability to mimick and his versatility is moreso the Gemini Sun.
Question.....have we established the authenticity of this note or are we just taking the OP's word for it? Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise. |

I think perhaps it's this one:
His handwriting is so much better than average. Apparently handwriting that slants to the right says of someone they're open to new experiences and enjoy meeting new people. [Edited 9/22/15 16:01pm] The world's problems like climate change can only be solved through strategic long-term thinking, not expediency. In other words all the govts. need sacking!
If you can add value to someone's life then why not. Especially if it colors their days... |
