Most people don't like it because they don't know shit but fact is that it's among Prince's weakest efforts. Why? Because P shows no knowledge of the whole contemporary music / neo classic / ambient scene: he kinda tries to make contemporary classical music but you can't do that and be relevant if you ignore what's been going on for a century. There are things on it that I like but it's really too naive and corny to work. I respect P's attempt to do something different, but he shoulda done his homework first.

It isn't underrated. It genuinely sucks.

On their own some of the songs would make a great instrumental interlude on an album like Rainbow Children or emancipation, but as an album it lacks focus and coherency. the title track is far too repetitive to be considered classical. I would prefer the original Dopamine Rush, Euphoria Highway or Wet Dream Cousin to most of these songs.

I love Kamasutra, I think it's romantic. But I cannot recall the rest of the album.

I actually like the song Kamasutra too (and I've listened to it within the past 6 months). Still, I admit that parts of it sounds like the soundtrack to a really campy fantasy role-playing game.

I think that I have only listened to it one time.I know that Prince can play so many different genres,but it doesn't mean that he excels at every single one.
