The text says he borrowed from the Chambers Brothers song, but I just heard the Chambers Brothers version on youtube, and it is pretty much exact. Yeah he changed the lyrics up a tiny bit, but still, crazy not to list this as an outright cover.

Because sometimes people play things that sound like other things and sometimes people play covers, and some times people get confused about how much is worth crediting and how much isn't. And sometimes people aren't consistent about how they do it. Because that's how people are. And things get said that are obviously mistaken(like that the released Make It Through the Storm's music is a different composition than Prince's) and then they get repeated (the last I knew this one was still wrong on Princevault--they seem to be down right now, so I can't check if it's been corrected).

I still wish I could hear that Andre "Do Me Baby" and just exactly what Morris had that led to "Partyup." I'd like to be able to avaluate those credits too.
