June vs. June June is by far my favorite track from Hit n Run. Obviously because of its title, it makes me think of Van Hunt's June. Plus, they are both beautiful, yet meloncholy. And ironically, the latter has more of a classic Prince sound.

Its simple but it works well, and lately he seems to be putting a lot more poetic effort into his lyrics, which is something his songs had been missing (IMO) for a few years.. Change it one more time..

June is HITNRUN's Way Back Home. "The password is what."

Not a fan. Sounds like something that was rejected from Bria's album.

Its ok but as soon as I start getting into the song it ends which alot of the songs on this album are like that. It feels like a demo that never got finished. I like it ok but it just needs to be longer.

I want to say, I love this track. Could definitely hear it extended. It reminds me of Prince in the studio (by smog? sorry too lazy to google). It makes me think that this would be what Wally would have been like - of course nobody but Prince and Susan Rogers could answer that.
I guess Prince is the famous person having a birthday (as many have suggested) is this an anti-JW thing? Who knows, but one of the keyboard lines reminds me of Stevie Wonder secret life of plants, songs in the key of life - well the sound anyway good work Josh.
I wondered if he would cook his own Pasta then realised it would be produced composed arranged and consumed by Prince.

Prince is a Mack on the dance floor, in the bedroom, on a ping-pong table, on the ball court, but I guess not in the kitchen "So fierce U look 2night, the brightest star pales 2 Ur sex..."

He's used to making pancakes y'all. And maybe spreading cream cheese on bagels. Pasta is hard. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

My favourite on the new album 2! It's amazing & sends me into a trance listening to it. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but did I not read somewhere in one of those interviews that P has a new Ethiopian assistant named June? Or did I dream that part?!
