Breakfast Can Wait: . Been there, done better. A track he could do in his sleep, why is it worthy of release?

CLOUDS: . Not good, not bad, just meh. Same criticism as BCW, with a (by Prince standards) generic Linn drum pattern.

Like seriously, I just got done listening to my Sign O' the times 12'' single on my turntable. I respect opinions, but how some people truly consider those three tracks and "songs" like The X's Face quality compared to his earlier output is in need of an explanation cuz its quite baffling.

Totally with you on every word. All three of those songs you mentioned are garbage.

I'm not one of those fans who is waiting for Sign O The Times Pt 2, all I want is for Prince to make music that is worthy of his legacy. Songs like Colonised Mind, Last December, $, Boom, Planet Earth, Future Soul Song. Those songs, to me, are worthy additions to his back catalogue. They hold up to anything else he's ever done and sound like music I can take seriously from an artist approaching 60.

I'm not feeling mid-life crisis Prince at all.

I'm pretty sure the original Falinlovetonite was an edit of a large remix, I hope they reworked it again as the original version is like instant, microwaved EDM -- that's my opinion, though my other half is a fan of this one.

Thats actually pretty good! I personally liked the song when it came out. It was tongue and cheek, cringeworthy, the timing of the release (releasing PBL after the episode debuted, and the actual single a month or two later) was horrendous but... It's hard for me not to love the song. It's just fun I guess. I could totally see why not that many people enjoy it but for me, I'm pretty excited to see it on the new album. Hopefully it'll be a different or extended mix.
