Did anyone ever notice that the Staxowax single smelled like grapes when you first bought it? The 'My Name Is Prince' cardboard case 2 track cd single also smelled like wet paint.
The scents have since worn off.  | |

No, but I remember the vinyl of "Ice Cream Castles" smelling like vanilla when I first opened it.

It probably has something to do with the plastic.
When I was a kid, my Star Wars action figure Tie Fighter Pilot smelled like grapes too...probably why the dog chewed the damn thing's legs off. Ahh, the memories. | |

uh, 
BUT, i bought "Like A Prayer" on vinyl, and THAT did come with a scent... I'm sure it was intensional by Madonna. It was a perfume...spicy, very "gypsy" smell. I just pulled it out, and it STILL smells that way...hmmm. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind. | |
