It only takes a few seconds to locate the relevant page on Wikipedia to see that Prince is listed in the credits of that song. That doesn't mean that he was credited back in the day, of course, but at least he is mentioned. U been bamboozled, hoodwinked, took. | |

OK, fair enough, anyway as I said we're talking about a former communist dictatorship that was in the middle of a bloody civil war when this album was released, and is still in such a state of misery today that it's not even part of the UE. For all I know your copy was a pirate copy, as it is common, and was even more common at the time in such countries, to print pirate copies of albums with both international and local acts. And even if it ain't it is common practice in such countries to disdain international copyrights, since local authorities do not care to enforce them: it's not like every artist in Bosnia paid royalties in 1993 except for this guy I'm pretty amazed at your thread. I mean OK u can make a thread to say that u found a Prince ripoff and that it's wrong to steal other people's songs, but the way u're like "how can I contact Prince, Prince absolutely needs to sue the guy" makes u sound like someone whose girlfriend was stolen by this Dino Merlin guy, or who has a personnal grudge with him so u're after his ass. Prince is a multimillionaire, why do u care so much? It's not like there are no worse things happening in the world today than a Bosnian singer stealing a Prince song 22 years ago for chrissakes. Dino Merlin didnt stole my girl but i do hold grudge against him.he is one of the most popular artist in Bosnia,even Serbia yet every single song by him is ripoff of Lenny Kravitz,Simply Red,ub40 and many other artists and nobody ever sued him | |

Who cares? Do YOU wanna go over there and round up the 100 dollars this guy made from this and send it to prince? Let's see...spend <$300 on an airplane ticket to Bosnia...spend some money hunting this guy down if he isn't currently dead. Find a way to get $100 from him. It doesn't seem this track pulled in much for P to take. It had like zero impact, and seemingly no sales. No one knows it exist...not even youtubers watching a baby dance along to it.
