Q about "Wouldn't You Love To Love Me?"

What's the source for the WB execs Mo Ostin and Benny Medina doing vocals on the 1988 Taja version? Is this in the credits on the single or Taja's album? I read it on PrinceVault and found it a bit strange.

This thread could be in Assoc, but it's a Prince-written song and P still produced the final version, so I'm gonna put it here.

.

Are these contributions audible in the released version(s)?

If so: where?

The Crash...; Burn...; Fire... part. And I think I hear mens voices in that last chorus, but not in the other chorus sections.
What?

Taja must have had some serious sway at the label to ask them to do that.

I've read somewhere that WB execs (Ostin and Medina then) had great faith in her and wanted to push the record a lot. For that reason she was signed on Reprise (and possibly only on Reprise, with the Paisley Park logo appearing on it just to do Prince a favor because he'd brought her, as with his own albums and Sheila's, that were in fact solely WB releases - and this might explain why Fountain Free was a Reprise-only release) in order to help relaunch the label with fanfare (it had been dormant for years), hence the three music videos (something unusual for Paisley Park releases). So obviously Taja had a priviliged relationship with them, but unfortunately her album wasn't as succesful as they expected.

I must say, Prince's vocal version is sweet. And his acoustic version is especially killing me softly. The guitar doodling is so pleasant to me.
