Death to the Sampler set and piano noodling. I go to concerts to hear whole songs, not half of averse and chorus seguing into something completely different. . Totally agree about Prince having his back up singers cover other people's mediocre songs badly. Would like to add, the obligatory spotlight for his latest sex kitten discovery squeaking along to some sloppily contrived lyrics about how her booty be freaking or some sex machine dancer showing her ass. I had to go to Bunnings (a hardware store chain here in New Zealand) the other day to get a hand saw. I noticed immediately the even spread of customers throughout the store and said to myself "self" I said, "it's pretty clear that not everybody is after a ladder". One would expect considerable clumping and a bottle neck in the ladder aisle if that was the case. . I've also been to that many 2nd hand stores I've lost count. Never once have I found a beret, Raspberry, blueberry, mint sunrise or any other colour. . Seriously though. Have any of you ever not followed through on well meaning plans? Maybe a planned change of career or a promise to catch up with some friends for dinner? Does that make you all liars? People change their minds all the time. If he hasn't taken your money first (ok, still don't have my lotusflower shirt) then lighten up. He doesn't owe you shit. If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it! | |
