"Blues In C" was replaced by "I Wish You Heaven pt. II" in the first 1988 Paris shows,
and he made 14000 people sing the "Heaven yeah, Heaven Oh Yes" chant.

The studio version of "Blues In C" is excellent.
It has to be the funniest rockabilly he's ever done.

I think Skipper turns the distorsion on too often.
He's an excellent, excellent Jazz guitarist.
It's always gonna be on the funk side of it,
but still, there are great moments.

"Telemarketer's Blues" From the Musicology Tour bootleg "Shark Tank",
is in the same vein. I love it when his falsetto doubles the guitar,
he's a master at it.

There's of course the whole "Old Friends 4 Sale" album.

Could it be the version of Clockin tha Jizz that he plays at the end of either the Diamonds and Pearls home video collection or Gett Off home video VHS?

I´m asking because it sounds quite jazzy, and it´s a legit release on VHS tape.

He´s watching a tape recording of himself playing that solo in Clockin the Jizz on his Hohner Tele, and if I recall correctly, the music blends into the music that´s being played while the credits are shown.

True! I actually find it quite weird that he hasn't really explored the jazz territory that much. He has occationally done some fusion stuff. But it's more of a jazzy take on funk and pop than the other way around. He mastered the guitar on a pretty high pop rock level as a teenager.

He was probably too doing everything else to really study jazz. His ability to be versatile and know his own limits, makes him sound good on guitar no matter what song he is playing on imo. He'll just do what works, and not play alot of flashy stuff that he isn't really good at. When is is being "flashy", it's the type of flashy he can pull off. Stand on the edge, but not further.

Listen to "Footsteps" from the O2 shows and you realize the man CAN DO IT ALL.
