If you know fans would be excited to see a tracklist for your new record, and you intentionally keep it hidden from them, it seems like you might not want them to be excited about it. If that's the case, job well done!

I have three theories:
A) there is an abnormal number of songs (either too few or too many)
B) it includes titles we know (from the vault or re recorded songs à la TCBU)
C) there is no reason other than Prince being Prince.

I just want some real beefy tunes that really get the head bopping. And I always want some good extended jams with loads of instrumentation. How awesome does the extended bits on FUNK sound? Or The everlasting now etc? That’s what I want. Just the musicianship. Have extended instrument breaks in the songs.

There's a remix of Breakfast Can Wait on HITnRUN... WHY?!?! That song came out two years ago! A remix EP was released, too. I just don't understand why he'd want to include not one, but TWO AOA songs on this new album. Then again, he is basically reusing AOA's artwork. I'm still excited, but it bothers me a little.. Oh well, I guess.

i know, right? perhaps this is just a remix album then? since the article also says:

"More than one of the songs on HITNRUN actually are remixes."

and goes on to say that the intro track is also a remix, using elements of For You
and other catalogue tracks.

i've lowered my expectations a bit more now i'm just looing forward to a bit

of a remix album for AOA, with a few new tracks thrown in, one or two remixes

of old tracks and one or two new versions of vault tracks. that feels about right

thats 6 tracks out of the 10 on the album, doesnt leave much.

Possible inclusions may be Revelation and the track he did with Rita Ora.
