Lovesexy (the song) came up in my playlist after not hearing it for ages and I can't get it out of my head now. It's so fun and funky. What was your last rediscovery?

"My Love Is Forever".. Never really paid attention to it before over the years.. Just skipped over it. But the other day, the song came up on my shuffle & it sounded really nice.. The guitar & synth lines have been stuck in my head for days..

I am constantly rediscovering his songs and I think that with such a vast catalog, it's one of the most fun and rewarding musical experience available for any person that likes to explore an artist in-depth. The fact that he actually tends to make it difficult to access all of his music (see Spotify thread, see his decade sprawling crusade to do what he wants with what he created, see all sorts of releases that are now hard to get compared to the catalog of other artists of his stature) is frustrating, but also quite the journey. I've had highs as a fan of his I would not ever have had with any other -- then again I had more than a few lows, but in the end the reward is definitely there.

One of the reasons heis definitely worth the effort is songs like Lovesexy. And Neon Telephone. And Silicon and When I Lay My Hands On U -- Prince wrote quite a few great songs after 1995, sorry Orthodox Prince Church. He 's still going very strong despite many phoned-in albums -- AOA is a jewel of an album and Plectrum has its charms among the "too generous" collaborative efforts

Now with his latest single Hard Rock Lover, his desparture from Spotify, his very successful and critically acclaimed concerts, Baltimore (song and concert), yeah... Prince fan might well turn out to be one of THE most interesting experiences out there.

Good points. I'm currently making a Prince playlist for my girlfriend and I'm amazed at all the gems I had all but forgotten about. Even since rediscovering Lovesexy, I've had Strange Way of Saying I Love You and Guitar (demo) on repeat.

just started playing Plectrum Electrum again.....and i think i like it!

That song has always been a favorite of mine.Not releasing it as a single was one of Prince's biggest career mistakes,imo.

It would've made a great single. And although "I Know" serves its purpose well, "Lovesexy" would've been an awesome opener too.
