I love a good self cover / reworking.
Think Thankyoufalletinme / thank you for talkin' to me Africa or, less credibly and less P related but still enjoyable, Lauper's rework of Girls Just... (hey now)

this has me thinking of Led Zeppelin. They have an album called "Houses of the Holy" but the song "houses of the Holy" is not on that album... it is on Physical Graffiti. But the ablum "Houses of the Holy" opens with a song called "The Song Remains the same" which is the name of another LZ album.
First thing I thought of too |

i head they have like 10 or so 'new' songs out now or coming out soon as the bonus material on the CODA reissue. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!" |

wait, what? How's that then?
what's the first line (albeit very distorted) he says at the start of 3121? They're all recorded from the same New Power Trio sessions. If you have any audio editing software (to be honest ITunes cross fade would probably do the job), give it a go!
Well yeah there's a connection between ...Back 2 the Lotus and 3121 sure, but they don't segue in any kind of neat way. |

The Most Beautiful Girl In The World was reworked for The Gold Experience, i preferred the original single extended version.
Days of Wild was an extended live version on Crystal Ball from the Gold Exp outtake.
She Spoke to Me has an extended version on The Vault, the single version is on the Girl 6 Soundtrack.

the originals are amazing.. I love The Sensual World & The Red Shoes deeply.
Her re-makes were a big pain to me, so diluted, so "watered down".... terrible album.
Actually Kate Bush is a used up artist, her music sucks big time since the rather good The Red Shoes (1993), IMHO......
I don't understand those who likes her "new music", its only a shadow of what she was once.. yes she was so brilliant back in 1978-1993. [Edited 8/5/15 9:59am] Prince 4Ever. |

Yeah OK like Prince like every artist on earth in fact. I don't really see where this reasoning is going |

3121 follows nicely from "From the Lotus..." actually, if you're making an era-based mix. |
