I just went looking for the truly wonderful Prince & 3EG version of Crimson & Clover live in Portugal in 2013. I must have watched it 100 times on YouTube. And now its gone. And it's gone from the rest of the internet too. I've searched right into the darkest recesses of Google and it's nowhere to be found.

Why didn't I download it in HQ from YouTube when I had the chance? Where's all that stuff gone anyway, I thought that once it was up on the web it was there for ever?

I have "Guitar" from Portugal, but thats a bad bad song...... I really like the original "I Will Follow" so very much better..

Learn how to download youtube-videos. It's easy.

But, TenMo... your point may be that Prince's ways on youtube are so very very strange??

I download everything from YT, particularly if it's Prince, because u never know when it'll be gone....

Youtube sucks these days. Even if you want to watch an old Betty Davis movie--the only ones that are free are the ones that are considered part of the "public realm," such as one of her best movies "All About Eve." I wondered why that was free and why I should have to pay for a more obscure movie such as "The Letter." So, Bowie's stuff is going the same way on Youboob? That's why I like artists like Bruce Springsteen, where you can go on a fansite and freely share bootlegs. Not only that but Bruce makes available recorded concerts that people just attended for sale. That's the way to do it.

You can download yt videos with the "Mozilla Firefox" browser, something called download helper.. no problem and it's very easy..!

Or keepvid. com is another option..

My son of 9 asked me to show him a Prince clip and in the End I couldn't find an older official clip on youtube and he ended up with the trailer of inside out and spending his pocket money on that soundtrack...

Yea, I feel ya. I was trying to find Dr. Feelgood wit Rosie. No where. Prince is lost. He doesn't lose money with these up.

It's too bad...I try to find my son clips of his videos and they're hard to find or impossible.

If it were easier to find them at Best Buy or Target I'd buy them, but they're not.
