I think you have far too much time on your hands. You are grasping at straws and grasping badly. Anna stesia is a powerful song, but I doubt Prince was burying it in double entendres like that.

Prince has been involved with 3 women at least since 2005, Manny until 2007, then Tamar at stages, Andy I also assume has been to bed with him and of course Bria as well. I suspect now that some of these ladies like Lianne, Ida and Delilah may also be warming his bed at times.

The meaning of those lyrics have crossed my mind before too.

Especially since he wrote The Most Beautiful Girl in the World for Mayte.

Perhaps Prince should buy a lotto ticket... but he's rich already.

Verse 1 (Have u ever felt so lonely..)is just his frustration, presumably from coming off the SOTT high.

Verse 2 is him penning the black album. 'Between white and black, night and day, black night seemed like the only way, so I danced'.

Verse 3 (Music late nothing great...) is him being dissatisfied with the black album, he goes to the club and the 'I took a chance' line is him taking the ecstasy.

Verse 4 'Gregory looks just like a ghost, then a beautiful girl the most wets her lips to say' is him meeting Ingrid Chavez for the first time.

Verse 5 'we could live for a little while, if you just learn to smile U and I could just fly away' is him and Ingrid leaving to go to Paisley together.

Prince's artistry has encouraged me to seek what can be termed my Higher Self. It has been a long journey: his art, as a channel, has really helped me to keep on going in this Earthly life.

I didn't said is wrong. I said is strange. I think he is Jesus or something like that with some kind of power. I remember the song One of Us.

I didn't really mean wrong in the sense that 'anyone' is wrong. One of Us is a cover of Joan Osborne's song...that is what I see. It is a masterpiece. I seem to remember that Mayte is the one who wanted Prince to do this cover. Excellent choice - maybe he will bring it back someday - would love to be there. I only see in this song that God is in each and every one of us.
