A classic, timeless, wonderful, soothing song. Definitely among my favorites of all time. That <+0 album is full of great songs, too bad that that album was marred by all the hype and weird, aborted storyline , Tony M. and other gimmicks. Especially the slower songs on that album are very timeless and the playing and singing sounds perfect, yet effortless.

Great song unfortunately Prince can't write songs like this anymore Welcome 2 The Dawn

In my opinion, Prince PEAKED with "Love Symbol" when it came to vocals. The vocals on those album are so rich and warm, on EVERY single track. The ballads sound prettier than ever, and his chest voice is much less nasal than ever. He of course has a great voice majority of the time, but I honestly feel it was the best on this album. Vocals were produced perfectly (unlike some other albums I won't name lol) Maybe do, just not like did before

My favorite is that soundcheck version from the early 2000s. Completely different feel -- a thick, deep funk sound. Anybody else feeling that one? "Love & honesty, peace & harmony"

It was played during the 2002 Paris soundcheck, i was there (as a member of the npg music club). Incredibly funky beat and Prince was on the keyboards, and when he started to sing Sweet Baby, i was just in heaven ! Unexpected, really. I'm sure nobody would've guessed that he would sing Sweet Baby over that beat. There were a few songs that he did that way at soundchecks or aftershows in 2002. Adore lyrics over Muse 2 the Pharoe music is another one I remember. "Love & honesty, peace & harmony"

I actually have a sweet baby tattoo wrapped on my hip! Its a bar of music from this song. Really helped me get through a breakup and inspired me with the message. No regrets on that one
