Set-list Compiled of Just the Last 15 Years Quite often it's pointed out that Prince plays too much old stuff, only to have someone then chalenge that and say that if he played new stuff, the shows would be bad. I dissagree. So, using only songs released since 2000, what would your set-list look like? 2. Boyfriend/ Ain't Gonna Miss U When You're Gone/ Extralovable 3. Colonized Mind 4. Satisfied 5. It would take at least 10 but more like 20 shows to hear these newish songs in current live appareances if he would do them all in sequence in his hits setlist. This is as P plays 90+% hits. And hits only. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry. | |

I'd be all for: 1/ Shows mainly focused on the latest album(s) 2/ More rarities from P's past catalogue, particularly 1996-2015 given that many songs from that era have never been played live at all 3/ A few hits a show to make mainstream audiences happy since it unfortunately seems necessary . P said that his audience wants the hits but I don't think the ONA tour was porrly received by its audience, on the contrary, so IDK what's with these nostalgy "best of" setlists.
