One Night Alone, the piano album we forgot. What a nice album. Really good songs. When he could write songs.

I sure haven't forgotten it. One of his best albums in my opinion. Of all time.

This album has never been forgotten. It's stunning and beautiful. His version of A Case of U is exceptional. In fact all of the songs are fantastic. I really liked this period and tour.

"SPEAK FOR YOURSELF" should blink at the top of this forum. Speak for yourself. What?

These albums wouldn't be "forgotten" if he would just release them by traditional methods. Most of his catalog is destined to be "forgotten", and that's a crime. But that's his choice.

Quiet album, quiet release meant for his closest followers. Quite a gift. Check out The Mountains and the Sea, a Prince podcast by yours truly and my wife. More info at https://www.facebook.com/TMATSPodcast/

I Have Not Forgotten..This album is in my top 10. I have always yearned for a Prince album that is predominantly piano based. This album is so wonderfully constructed and raw. It feels as if you were sitting right next to him just absorbing the moment of him and his piano. It's so sacred and special. This Could Be Us But U Be Playin...

Don't want to piss on anyone's parade but I only like about 2 songs. I really like A Case Of You (gorgeous!) and Avalanche was good too, although I have heard some live versions that were much better to my ears. RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

It's a very good album, but not nearly as good as it could have been. You could take 10 piano ballads off other Prince albums and blow it away. "Drop that stereo before I blow your Goddamn nuts off, asshole!"

The piano album who forgot? I listen to it all the time. We donโt mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

This is exactly why I don't like it. He could have done much better. Same goes for The Truth, both ending up as very boring albums in my opinion. RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

Who's "we"? I have had this on heavy rotation since it came out. "You always get the dream that you deserve, from what you value the most" -Prince 2013

For some reason, I received two copies of it.
I gave the second copy to someone at work, sealed.
About the album, it's too quiet for me. I like a piano song here and there on an album. I like Prince albums for the range of feelings they have, carnal, social, funky, romantic, rocking, funky, reflective, jazzy, anthem... etc. This album doesn't do it for me, but I get that those are who are more mellow value it.

ONA is, in my not-even-a-little-bit humble opinion, is his most disappointing album ever. Don't hate your neighbors. Hate the media that tells you to hate your neighbors.

I don't think it was great, but it was very good. Compared to overrated stuff like Sometimes It Snows In April. All you others say Hell Yea!!

What songs from the Prince catalog would you adds to ONA to make it a fuller album? I've felt Lets Have a Baby from Emancipation blended in seamlessly while nothing from The Truth worked.
