Meh... they really AREN'T a band on their own, and thats what made PE fall flat for me. There's no point to the album, its just a random collection of songs. These women had no other unifying force excet Prince, so theres a purpose lacking, more albums just don't make sense to me.

As Princes back-up they're fine, imo..but dear God in all of heaven please no more Hannah singing.



People also forget - that Princes music is EXPENSIVE to CREATE. Thise 80's & 90's records had huge bands - there's no way to recreate that stuff live now without massive massive expense.

So, when you're complaining - remember Prince is indy and he needs to profit in order to keep showing up. Bandmembers eat 3 squares a day, need to sleep somewhere and get paid ....so you can hear let's go crazy like the album and the movie you're looking at massive expenses.


oh PS - thats another reason he may use women, haaaaaaa we'll take less money, we eat less, and we can all be in one room! lolololol
