It's been 20 years since the heydays of the Minneapolis Funk sound. You know: computer drums, funky bassline, funky rhythm guitar and synth brass.

Since we're in the middle (well, almost the end...) of the 80's revival, I plead for a return of Minneapolis Funk, either by Prince or any new funk artists. You think it will happen???

it might. dunno why it won't, everything else seems 2 be havin a "revival" at the moment.

Yep, in the past 5/6 years they've gone through the 60's, lounge music, Glam Rock, Disco, Late 80's House, New Wave, Early 90s Rave, early 80s Electro.

Why not the MPLS sound!
