Prince songs that make you cry happy tears I can't lie, I found a trove of unheard tunes today at work and have spent the whole day holding back the joy and excitement of hearing these new songs. I feel like I'm being reborn into a new Prince fan all over again. Telepathy, Allegiance and I Guess I'm Crazy are blowing me away right now. Any Prince songs hit you in the feels the first time you heard them? | |

Allegiance sounds better on that new crop of boots, but has always been the one

. To answer your question tho, the only Prince (or Prince-related if you wanna call it) that ever made me tear up was Madhouse's Eight. Something about those flutes and the "huh"s after Seven got me a little the first time I heard it 
. The only other songs that did that to me was Ghostface's All That I Got Is You a couple of times and some Bright Eyes song, but I was going through something around the time

.I know how you feel in the last month I have discovered a whole new Prince discography of unreleased material. Today I heard the 59 minute version of Soul Psychodelicide! Purple Music, Possessed, Prince's version of All Day, All Night, Cool Love, Pickle and the 30 minute version of I Would Die 4 U are all slaying me this weekm. Oh and Adonis & motherfucking Bathsheba! Come on! | |

Ive always had a soft spot for Adore ever since I was 13. I cried tears of joy hearing the emotion being captured into this heavenly piece. From the angel choir singing to the resounding church style organ it is truly a masterpiece. Princes vocals didnt help dry up the tears either because it was just as beautiful. The Beautiful Ones always got me as well. Condition of the Heart is such a masterpiece of crying emotion that tears flow from my eyes even before the vocals kick in. THAT PIANO MAKES ME WEEP. I think that's the only one for me, too. I didn't actually cry but I could feel a tear welling up the first time I heard the, "So I went on down to the Holy River/I called my girl and told her I had something to give her..." part. I didn't realize that's where the song was going, and found myself unexpectedly touched. Great storytelling. "That's when stars collide.
