Okay, I was organizing my collection and was looking at the entry for the song on Princevault, where it identifies the female voice as Vanity, dating from the 1982 recording of the basic track. I can't tell who it is listening to the track, but had assumed (back in '85) that it was people who were around Prince then, not the people who had been around a few years earlier (as apparently I should have). . I don't have the vinyl anymore, and haven't heard the reversed track in years--so who does it sound like to anyone who does have it? | |
